My Dad and I on my first backcountry horseback deer hunting trip, 1954 when I was 12 years old.

This is a hard one Trent. This is my fav this year. 2 of my fav things. My dog and mule deer hunting all in one!

I have to pick 2 for all time fav. This one of dad and brothers because it was the last time we all hunted together in 1999, I miss those days very much. The other one because this is my "super tag" Idaho bull. Wasn't at all what I was looking for. Just happened to see him while my son was with me (he was 6) and I had rifle in vehicle and season was open. I told son I wanted something bigger with this tag and he said "are you kidding???! That's the biggest elk ever"! Was sons first time being able to partake in a hunt with me so its my other fav.
