Thank you all.

I just got told that her white blood cell counts increased, it can be caused by a number of things some of which are benign but it can also mean the infection is getting worse.

Not being able to do anything about any of this sucks. I just picture his face in my head and think about what it's going to be like holding him and hope that we get there.

Thank you all again.

My son was born Sunday morning at 1:50AM, at 23 weeks and 2 days, 1 pound 1 ounce.

He was taken directly from the delivery room to the neonatal intensive care unit and is now stable and doing very well for his gestational age. He's by no means out of the woods, he's a long way from it, but he does not have major bleeding and he was negative for an infection and those are the two biggest threats to him at this point.

Thank you all for the prayers and please keep the coming, he and all of the other babies in the neonatal ICU needs all the help they can get.

The doctor that admitted my wife to the hospital here saved my son's life. We live 1.5 hours from the hospital he's in, if the doctor had sent my wife home, she most likely would have delivered up there. He is only alive now because they were able to move him directly into the ICU, had we been at home, he would not have survived.

Thank you all again.

You have been blessed with a loving wife, a son, as well as the grace for a strong faith. God never gives us more than we can handle, although at times the burden is tough. May you have peace in your heart and your son to grow tall and strong to walk the land and follow the path of his father. Amen.

Prayers from California for you and yours. Godbless.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hang in there JMSZ. You're not alone in all of this.
