I used to work in nursing homes and assisted living centers. I have a set of CD's that we would play of the old radio shows and they included the advertisements.....most of the younger staff couldn't believe that they were real.
Cigarette ads with tag lines like "less irritating"
and coffee ads about how important it was for the wife to have a nice cup of coffee for her husband when he got up and a drink when he got home.
