Outfitter/Guide for Black Bear?

After the input I received (thanks!) on a previous thread it looks like my best shot at getting a Black Bear is going on a guided hunt (for many reasons).

Do you guys know any Black Bear guides you'd recommend?

I live in Colorado so maybe somewhere around here ... Wyoming, Montana, etc?

I think Idaho offers the best bet for taking a black bear in the western states. Reasonably cheap non-resident license with additional tags available. Numerous color phase bears too. Last time I looked, you could use dogs, and bait. Bear Hunting Magazine has a classified section with a number of listings of black bear outfitters. That is where I would go on an out of state hunt, or Alberta as an international destination.

Idaho has lots of bears. If you don’t have time to bait then I agree a guide is the way to go. Same as already said tags are cheap too.
