We had an amazing year this year for muleys. Here are some pics from our adventure this year. Enjoy !

I had the 1st success during 2nd season with this awesome find while doing a deer drive.

My oldest son Jacob could not hold out any longer and shot this great little forky on the 5th day of the season.

On the same day, after taking care of my sons buck and getting him on his way home, we headed back out and found this big old muley and my wife Kathy took her biggest buck to date.

On to 3rd season.... My youngest son Arlan and I had a fantastic hunt. We pssed over many great bucks and had a blast hunting together.

My cousin Chemaine took her buck on opening morning.

On the 4th day of season we finally found a buck Arlan wanted to take, but I messes up and told him where to aim with my rifle (I should have ranged it twice), and he shot high and blew off the G2 and G3 point of a monster 180+ buck. Which we named later as broken. We got back on the buck 3 more times, but Arlan just could not bring himself to kill him being broken and ended up taking this great buck that started running with "Broken" two days later.

My cousins husband took a great buck also the same evening. All three great bucks together !

Then with 2 days left in the 3rd season we still had 3 doe tags to fill in another unit. My daughter, dad, and myself were going to have to work fast.

We all connected on the 2nd to the last day of season. I did not get a pic of my dads doe , but we had a fun hunt, and you can not beat the smile on my daughter Melissas' face. She has taken two bucks in her short hunting career and this was her first doe.

And my doe ........

We had a great season for sure !

Pretty nice deer. I am most impressed by the sheds though! Those sheds are obviously from a moster buck! Time to try to find him on the hoof!

Thanks much !

Montana,

There are no OTC deer tags in Colorado, but it is not a trophy unit for deer either. It was taking 0-1 PP's 2nd season and now it takes 1-2 and 3rd season use to take 1-2 and now is taking 2-3.

Can an out of state guy just buy a preference point?
There is a code for Preference Point only on the app, just use that if you just want the point. You will still have to front the cost of the tag, but you get that back minus your $25 or whatever it is.
