Well my mule deer plans for this year got buggered up. SO now I am looking into other options. I have a buddy wanting to do something also. So if you were in my shoes and wanted to hunt something out west with out using any points, what would you do? I was thinking something other than a 2nd choice antelope hunt in WY. Bow or gun we would be fine either way. Here are some options that come to my mind, but not sure if do able yet because of draw dates for states.
NE spot and stalk Mule deer w/bow
WY cow elk hunt, not sure what unit
WY deer hunt, not sure what region but would have to be able to draw 2nd choice.
Or a 2nd choice antelope hunt in WY.
What would be some other options to consider at this point in the year?

I do plan to cash WY elk and deer points in some time and do plan to hunt or scout the unit the year prior.
Not that we wouldn't be up to the challenge of a leftover bull elk hunt. I would like the success rate to be a little higher, specially going into a unit blind. I have a buddy that hunts CO every year for the last 15+ years. He said he has had to change from his usual units do to over crowding of other hunters lack of animals or fires. He went from getting a bull every year to every other year sometimes two.
