Thanks again everybody!

So, once you got one, what do you do with it?
I considered a full body mount but decided to get a rug made since it is easier to hang in the house. Didn't do anything with the carcass but I wish I had saved the urine as I have now learned it is a very good wolf attractant. Will be packing a syringe next time...

I posted a picture of this critter on the general board but figured I should put it up here for all you Idaho hunters to see.

Caught this wolf in the act of devouring a trophy game animal and was able to get a snap shot off with my trusty old 30-30 just as it was going out of sight.

Glad we are able to fight back this fall instead of having our hands tied. Kudo's to the state of Idaho for caring about the future of hunting!
good job and congrats!

Thats sweet! We need to start seeing pictures like that coming from all the states housing wolves.

Good on you for taking that wolf out of the gene pool, Congratulations!!
They're "reintroducing" wolves here in AZ, and we can't hunt them, yet, but most folks can't wait to start. They've devastated our deer and elk populations, and also impact the turkey and other game.

By shooting one wolf you saved 9.9 elk 5.7 deer a year. Every wolf hunter in Idaho keep up the good work. I looked on Idaho game and fish web site and saw that 304 wolves have been harvested this season. Keep saving elk and deer one wolf at a time

It is looking like Wyoming will pass the bill this year. That means we will be hunting the wolves.
