Out of curiosity, on average how many hunts a year do end up with?

Example, I live in Wyoming and there will be some type of deer hunting as well as some type of elk. Antelope I usually have a second choice tag but those aren't great, so don't put effort in really unless there is a first choice tag.

I hunt Montana every other year for sure and have a general combo and drew a REALLY good elk permit(message me if you have bonus points, would love to help), at some point I will burn my antelope points there. I think i am up to 5.

I have points in CO and Nevada as well. CO is a newer play that will be about big mule deer in the future. Nevada is because I just want to hunt elk and deer there some day, once I have double digit points I will start trying to burn them on my off years for Montana.

This strategy puts me at about 3-4 dedicated trips this year.

Building points for Wyoming deer and antelope with my sons. Usually do elk and deer in Colorado every year, and the occasional pronghorn, sheep, goat and moose when someone in the family draws. Last year had an archery sheep tag that I focused on so had limited time elk hunting and returned my deer tag.

Depends on the year, but I'm usually building points in CO, I hunt WY, sometimes MT, ND, ID. I get to run the camera on several hunts in different states so I feel like I hunt everywhere...LOL! I just don't get to pull the trigger...mostly just pushing a red button on the camera, which is fun, too.

Kinda the same with me. I go on as many friends hunts as I can and get as much video of their hunts as I can for them to remember the hunt. It’s fun for me to be honest but I definitely like to be behind the trigger also.

I go on at least 2 or 3out of state trips a year, sometimes more :). I always hunt deer elk and a couple bears and turkeys in OR. Antelope and the OIL hunts also when I or someone I know draws a tag.
This year so far is ID whitetail, AK moose, hopefully WY antelope and have already been to AZ for javelina this spring. Looks like I should get an extra OR whitetail tag again also this year. I still have some more results to let play out before things are finalized, but things are getting more exciting all the time :)

I average two. Deer and elk here in Oregon. I rarely draw a special tag so l rely on OTC hunting. I have drawn Nevada Deer and Wyoming elk in the last 5 years. I’m hoping to draw again in Wy or Nevada in the next several years, but nothing this year though.
