Hello
Wanted to post up and introduce myself on this forum. I'm from Omaha and got bitten by the elk bug about 3 years ago and have been to CO for elk a couple times so far. This year I plan on spiking camping again with the hope to actually see some this time around. :) Still a newbie at elk and constantly learning. Have already and will continue to spend hours examining google earth to determine ridge lines and meadows etc.
I also spend time chasing deer and probably more time going after waterfowl. I always attempt to get a doe down early in the season so I'll have some sausage/jerky for waterfowl in Nov/Dec.

Weather is going to be spotty here this week. Possible rain today and I think possibly 80's later this week. Weird weather but also might bring out some early season morels. :)

Hope she enjoy's her visit here.

Welcome to the site. I live about an hour and a half west of you. A group of us go west every year for various game... feel free to send me a PM in the future.
