The first step to getting to the top of a tree is to cut it down.
lol I wish I could do that with this 1 but there are to many things around it to take it down whole. Its going to have to come down in pieces and even then we are going to have to rope alot of limbs to get them down without hitting anything.

Worst friday the 13th ever! Stung 7 times by a scorpion while in bed. Spent majority of saturday with a numb body stuck in bed. Did happen to make it to the last day of the rodeo though :)

It wasn't fun! My vision was tripped out and eyes would twitch constantly. Couldn't hold anything. Just had to let it run its course and make sure my throat didn't swell at all. Poison control said up to 48 hours thankfully it didn't last that long!

It got me 2-3 times on my neck. And 4-5 time on my right peck. I had a dream I was going thru some sort of torture testing and someone was heating a needle and poking me with it. It woke me up eventually and Felt like my skin was on fire. I ripped my shirt off and ran to the bathroom to put cold water on it. I noticed the welts and tried to figure out what was going on. I went back into the bedroom and shook the shirt out and low and behold a 2" scorpion smacked against the wall.

My wife was stung a couple years ago but she was allergic. Within an hour she had entered complete paralysis and lost all vision. We spent 3 days in the e.r not knowing what the outcome would be. The docters couldn't do much except iv and pain meds for her. She came around eventually but she was much more freaked during this weekend incident than I was. I was a little worried when my mouth started going numb. I didnt want my throat to swell!

Holy cow HS. How the heck did a scorpion get into your bed??
No clue. I carpeted the bedrooms for this exact reason. Ive noticed there not fans of carpet. But they will climb on the walls. It may have dropped off a wall or the ceiling. There pretty common around this part of vegas. Alot of older homes with desert landscape and palm trees.

Wierd to say but the effects were kind of fun to go thru. I felt the numbness circulate my entire body. Its wierd to feel what small animals go thru before they fall victim.

Thought you would get a decent discount on the new 3 year NR hunting license from Idaho but at a $1.17 a year savings I dont think its worth it.

We have scorpions here in OK also. They are brown, not sure the species. The ones we have, you can take a black light at night & make them glow. We walk around our house outside with the blacklight shining the edge of the foundation. We will kill several at night in the summer. I'll try to find a pic of one glowing that I took and post it. I'm glad you are ok Hardstalk!
