Am I the only one who thinks that firing up the fire place equates to a challenge where breaking your own personal best highest temp possible in the furthest room is a must?

Got the daughters room to 74 just now! Think ive burned a half a cord today though. Its only 45 outside..

4,000 sq feet at an average of 73 degrees on one fireplace= alotta oak! Actually melted the rack the wood sits on! Score!

I've got you beat bro! A guy that works for me and I had to go on a service call about 2hrs out of Reno. It was summer and about 95 outside. We had this great idea about who could take the heat the longest. Yep we rolled up the windows and turned the heater on full blast!! We where in a standard cab Ford Ranger. We had a thermometer on the center consul. 120 degrees it got inside till we couldn't handle it anymore!! Holy Shizzle that was stupid!! Now I know it get that hot in Vegas but for us in a little ass truck it was horrible!! Lol

LOL,but for some reason I could see me and a friend or my bro trying that also LOL.

I hate the cold because no matter what, my feet and hands always get cold. That's 1 reason why I love the August and sept hunting.

But I want about 6" of snow to drop in Dayton. It's fun when its cold, pulling a sled behind a quad in a field. You guys should see the sled we about destroyed from hitting stuff in the field lol.

I hit a rock so bad I couldn't sit down for a few hours lol. Fun times

As an apprentice in the sprinkler trade I had a foreman put me in a "dog house" to do some work. it was basicly an attic. But a corrugated tin attic. He brought me up with the scissor lift. Then he received a 911 call and said he'd be right back... It was probably 140-150 degrees. Worse than a sauna! ( ive been in a few saunas, there miracle workers on hangovers!) I was drenched within 15 minutes. He didn't come back for 3 hours and I was writing a letter to my family telling them I loved them.. (J/k) but those situations where you sweat more than you thought possible are ridiculous! Like sweat pouring constantly. Not dripping, pouring! Thats when I found out what electrolyte tabs are for. There miracle workers!
