Turkey makes me sick just thinking about it. Had a bad experience with it involving the porcelain god.

'had enough of those experiances in my life, burbon, whiskey, gin, tequlia, jungle juice, wine, beer................ I didn't have very good parenting when I was young! I'm a much smarter drinker nowdays.

The moral of the story is, don't let your teenage son run a muck! And NEVER give him sraight shots of Black Velvet when he kills his first buck, at the age of 12!

Wrong.. The moral is get it out of their system before they head to college and declare " unspecified major" with your hard earned savings.

There is a song out there that wraps up this convo in a nutshell. Something like " mammas dont let your babys grow up to be cowboys"

Any of it will get ya if ya drink tomuch! I have had my share of them experiences lol. I agree with exposing kids to it so its not such a big deal and they have some idea of their limits when they get out on their own.

I don't have a big problem with a little exposure, but bring more than whiskey and beer when you take them along! My dad was a rough dude to hang with. His theory was "If I can drink it , so can he" so I tired like hell.
We would go hunting for the weekend and all that was in the cooler was Bud Light and hot dogs, we had mustard and a loaf of white bread for the dogs. Talk about makin' a kid tough! Crazy thing is, I still like hot dogs and beer??

My dad owned a landscape company when I was younger. To earn extra cash I would work with the joses shoveling rock on the weekend. Only thing they would bring for refreshments was corona and budlight. 110-115 degrees and cracking a can @ 7a.m all the while trying to bust ass and impress them so I could come back the following weekend was tough. Real tough.

Missed out on some good fishing today. The fertalizer/spray company we use had what they called a miss communication yesterday. I call it their new field guy screwed up....again, and they didnt come out yesterday like they were supposed to and didnt figure it out till about 2:00 when I talked to the guy I should of talked to in the first place. So to make a long story short I stayed home and sprayed barley today while everyone else went fishing.

I wish I knew as much about hunting gear, rifles, bullets, optics, units in other states as I do what "not" to do in life. I'm not a very good contributor to this site until someone wants info on hunting in Oregon, which isn't often!
