I feel like a different person. I cashed my Christmas present in on Friday and had my LASIK surgery completed. Did the 1 day checkup yesterday and they are telling me I can see 20/15 out of both eyes. Did a little coyote hunting this morning, no luck, but wow is it nice not worring about fogging up the glasses or fighting with them. Can't wait for this fall!!!!

Good luck either way..........

I got my truck license at 16 due to my family owning a business. We sold out and I drove for them for 25 years and now operate heavy equipment (same company)

I don't miss the traffic and the Idiots on the road. Still have my CDL and medical card just in case.........

I should clarify, the truck I'm referring to is a company pick up. I have never driven truck for a living, I have run heavy equipment a lot however. I somehow avoided ever having to drive truck. 25 years is a long time @ the wheel!

After 10 years in one field I made the switch last December. To a different field all together. Your probably sticking with the same field of expertise, but man I was lost for months! It's been a year now and the change has been very refreshing. Good luck timber!

So I'm in the market for upgrading my bino's. I have a meeting in Cheyenne so I go over to take a look at some Swarovski slc's. The nice young lady gets them out of the case, tells me how amazing Swarovski is. I go to pull out the eye cups, she says they don't come out. I say "serious", she says yup. I take a quick look and leave. If you know nothing about what your selling, work the register. Rant over.

Timber,

Yes those are solid tires as I push garbage and load recycle with the machine. This Cat is a prototype and we are testing it for Caterpillar. It has Joystick Steering and is considered a "hybrid" machine. This one came over from Europe (Belgium) and so far is using 30 percent less fuel than our regular machines. This thing is very quick, powerful, and fun to operate. I have been working with the engineers and giving them operator feedback on the machine. We may end up buying it but the half million dollar decision is not mine. They tell me there is only 14 of these built right now.

sslinger,

Don't you love that? I can see why the Rant.

I have a rant also...... Last week our Levono laptop quit working and would not power up. We took it to a local repair shop and they said the mother board was fried. We purchased a extended warranty on it so the repair shop did not charge us and told us we would have to contact the Levono office. My wife called them up gave them our information and they confirmed we bought a extended warranty and to mail it to them and they would fix it in 7 to 10 bushiness days.

So last night she goes online to see what the status was on the machine. It says "machine on hold in billing as not everything is covered under the warranty" So she calls today and talks to the gentleman at Levono and he tells her "its a power issue" and its 300 to fix it. She tells him we bought a extended warranty that states everything is covered for three years. He says two more times " but its a power issue" My wife says two more times " we bought a extended warranty"...... He puts her on hold comes back on and says " we will fix it tomorrow and mail it back."
