Shorter storm rolled through last night, only lasted about an hour with no ice. I concentrated on the river bottom pastures behind the house and saw nothing but deer. Went to where I deer hunt this AM about 12 miles away and they rooted up about a 5 ac strip that used to be my road down the edge of the hay field. After a close inspection it appears to be a cpl sows and a ton of pigs. Called a guy in to trap them.

I continued the first method last night. Just 'cuz ice wasn't falling from the sky doesn't mean I didn't have some in the cooler. I was so dang ticked when I fell off in the first crater this morning...and of course my wife was in the truck and acted like it was somehow my fault.
