No worries, I'll take my own rocks. I usually seem to haul some around anyways. I just looked in back of my truck the other day and realized I was still hauling around rocks from hunting in Nevada. HAHA!

I'm guessing the ammunition manufacturers will stay ahead of this so you guys can keep hunting. I believe there are non-lead options for most cartridges currently... cost is high but so is everything else in California.

I could be wrong, but I havn't seen any .22 rimfire ammo that was not lead. Guess all the cottontails get a break:p

3 or so years back Winchester was working on a tin bullet and CCI a copper particle/polymer load in .22. No idea if they ever made it to market, so the bunnies may still be safe. With a market the size of CA, someone will come out with a solution soon.
