I have a friend that is going to buy a new rifle for antelope, deer & elk. He likes the Nosler 21 and I don't know much about them. I looked online at Nosler's page and the rifle looks pretty nice. I also suggested 6.5 Creedmore for his caliber. He has plenty of $$$, so price is really not a problem. He wants something he can get pretty soon and not wait months for.

Anyone have experience with the Nosler? How about the caliber?

Haven’t shot one, but the few I have handle in stores seemed like a solid gun. Lots of good reviews on them. Depending on how far he plans to shoot elk, I’d be tempted to go to a bigger case, 6.5 PRC or bigger, or a larger caliber.

sounds like a good combo, the 6.5 creedmor and the nosler 21.
the creedmor is a pretty good cartridge, that does not kick. A little light for elk, but it has killed lots of them.
