I moved to Wyoming 3 years ago from northern Wisconsin I've hunted my whole life some trophy, but mostly just for meat. I've managed to find some good places to hunt already with some hard work and research. I'm noticing that after growing up hunting deer and bears my whole life after tagging my first elk last year I have become addicted to elk hunting and could care less about deer now. I figured a site like this could be me crutch in the off season.

Hey Mud farm my family back there had good luck this year also with the snow and cooler temps for deer season. I don't miss the cold one bit, working outside my whole life in northern Wisconsin they average 60 days of below zero and the extreme cold down around -70 I can say the winter out here is like a walk in the park compared to back there.

Welcome to the forum! I spent most of my time chasing whitetails in Midwest, just moved to Cheyenne. Haven't made it out hunting yet, but hope to this Fall. Have fun out there.
