Well, we hunted hard for 5 days and only went 2 for 5. Made a stalk on 2 bucks on the last evening but ran out of light and my dad and uncle couldn't get a shot. Had a great trip and hunted some of the most beautiful country I've ever laid eyes on. 3500 miles round trip is a looooong drive!!!! We had the full spectrum of weather......sun, rain, lots of wind, a little snow, sleet..... Hopefully the pictures load. My buck is 26" wide and has pretty good mass. Short forks but for what we'd been seeing, I couldn't pass him up. TONS and TONS of elk. I've never seen so many elk in one area. It was unreal. Lots of antelope, bears, wild horses and mules. I'll be applying for an elk tag, every year, from now on!!!!
