Hello everyone,

I am new to the site so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Seth, I live in Henderson NV where i am a firefighter. I love backpack hunting with my bow or rifle anywhere I can in the west. I look forward to getting to know the people on here and learning some things from you guys and i will help out whenever I can.

Thanks for the welcome. Musket man, you can find a 200+ muley north of Vegas and south of Idaho. If you can draw one of those tags with 4 NR points you should probably buy a few lottery tickets too. I don't know a lot about the NR odds but everything I have heard has been pretty low. Nevada doesn't give residents the greatest odds either, we either have to wait for years ans get lucky or hunt the rubys ever year or two.

I guess all of my research paid off. Thats exactly where I was thinking about applying! LOL Do you think I can get a 350 bull in the same area?

I would say you can probably draw the rubys with 21 points. And I'm sure you could find 2 or 3 bucks that would add up to 200+ in there.

UH. There are only 2 applicants that applied in NV last year that will have 21 points this year. One applied for 33 Late and the other applied for 221-223 Late. Of course the 33L tags went to 2 apps with 7 points and 1 with 5, and the 221-223 tags went to 1 with 14, 1 with 13, and 1 with 7. Other then that there were 3 that will have 19 points this year, and 7 that will have 18. I really wouldnt worry about the draw odds if I was you, just find a unit with 200'' bucks all over it and apply!:)

Well not hard to figure out since only 2 people in the world have 21 points and i didnt think you would apply for 33. I think I will apply for 221 late and draw 1 of the 3 tags with my 4 points this year! LOL

Im applying for 032. Its a terrible unit (uphill both ways, no deer, and loaded with rattlesnakes) and you dont want to apply for it!
