Hi All
Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. Hoping to get into some backpack hunting for desert mule deer this winter
as well as small game and predator hunting. Most of my hunting will be in the desert since I can't stand snow anymore.

Welcome to the site, hunting in the desert is a fun thing to do. I actually took up hunting javelina in Arizona 23 or so years ago to get out of the cold of Colorado only to have the snow follow me every couple of years.

Living in Surprise it doesn't snow a whole lot. Once in a while it will spit snow at the house or it will snow on top of the White Tanks but, fortunately that's about it

Cooler days are coming.........Can't wait. I really don't like the heat but, I hate snow and cold more. My favorite times of year here are winter, spring and fall.

Welcome.... Just left Phoenix area after 27 years there. Came back to my home state of Colorado. Good luck with the deer hunting. Taken deer and elk out of unit 10, 6b, 6a, 8, 9 and Kaibab plateau..... Glad you are on the site. Lots of great knowledgable individuals here!
