Hello I am new here its the first time I have ever joined a forum. So I maybe slow at figuring at how to post and things work around here . So sorry in advance if I mess up. But any way I'm 41 years old married with two kids ,paper mill worker . I love to hunt turkeys,deer,hogs,waterfowl and offshore fishing. I hunt both private and public land here in sc and public land ducks in Arkansas, but have always dreamed about hunting the west . That is what has brought me to this forum. I have been putting a trip out west off for to long . Im in the planning stage of putting together a elk hunt in Idaho otc diy . I know it will be a hard hunt . Well I hope I can get to know some of you guys and make some new friendships

Welcome to the forum! My brother recently moved to Columbia SC. We are heading to WY this fall for Mule Deer and Antelope. He just joined a private land hunting lease near Columbia due to the lack of public land close to his house. Best of luck and stick around, you'll learn more than you could ever imagine on this site.
Thank cobbhunts I live about 1-1.5 hour from your brother in Florence. If your brother is willing to drive a little there is some good public land around where I live . There is about 10 wma lands with in probably a 40 mile radius of Florence anywhere from 3000-50000+acres bottom land to sandhills. Good luck in wy. If your brother wants some info let me know
