Hello everyone,

My names is Ramon, people call me Ray. I live in central California (Visalia) and have mostly deer hunted D-7 and D-8 areas for the past 30 some years. I was looking for information about other areas of California to hunt and found this site. Read lots of posts and seen some great pictures too. Anyways hope to share information and pictures in the near future with you all.

Hi. Welcome and where are you lookin to hunt around California, because I have hunted and not killed deer in a lot of areas.

Thanks for the welcome. Colorado I saw some of your pictures and your blogs about your hunting, that's one of the main reasons why I joined. Jrod, I have hunted around Wishon, Courtwright, and Ahart Meadow areas for the past 25+ years and I have taken several bucks. It's been slow pickings the last few years maybe due to hunting pressure and the weather. In D-8 area, I hunt around Hume Lake and have been successful. I will have to find some pictures to post. I am looking for other spots in D7 to hunt like Bass Lake, Eastman, or Florence Lake areas, but I am not familiar with those areas and looking for any info.

I have never hunted the central California sierras so I know nothing of hunting down there. Again welcome to the site
