They have come quite a ways in the forgiveness category. That said I still regret selling my Mathews Switchback several years ago. The problem was that I just wasn't shooting it.My bow is a 2008 model. It still shoots a 425 grain arrow 311 FPS. Not sure what a new bow can provide me?? Guessing some forgiveness maybe but I would hate to spend 1k+ on a little comfort that in the end doesn't kill any better than my current one.
amenEvery now and then I'll go out with some friends to shoot our bows just to see if I remember how. I find that my 28 year old Browning still shoots like it should.
I can't imagine buying a new bow every couple of years just to have the newest and latest technology. Sometimes I wonder how we ever killed anything with old recurves shooting cedar shank arrows and Bear broadheads
