Kid stuck a very respectable muley at dusk. Gonna be a long night!
Good shot, solid impact. Went running into the bedding area/heavy timber with a Rage Hyperdermic and half a 5mm carbon arrow in him. For all those that have had to let one set overnight, please say an extra prayer. Really want him to get his hands on this one, he's been hunting so hard. God Bless, stay safe.

Good luck to you. Hope you find him first thing in the morning, and it sounds like you should. Then the pressure will be off, you can relax and enjoy the pack out, and everyone will sleep great tomorrow night. Sincerely wish you guys the best of luck.

I'd say that you have him in the bag with a short tracking job in the morning, but by the time that you read this you might of already found him and are packing him out.

Good luck.

Well its with a heavy heart......we didn't find him. It rained 3 hours overnight before dropping 5 inches of snow. We found the arrow, both blades deployed and had blood 8 inches up the shaft even after the rain. He carried the arrow 200 yards. We gridded the area out to 1500 yards from the arrow with no luck. Weather then ran us off the mountain as more snow was on the way. After discussing with my son it would appear the shot wasn't as good as I thought ( and saw from 200 yards away with binos) seems like he hit him in no man's land high and back. We greatly appreciate the extra prayers and positive comments.

Sorry to hear of the outcome but with how that storm hit and what it laid down - man a needle and a haystack. I too was in that storm when it hit yesterday and it chased me off the mountain as well for good reason. Literally would have been impossible to track anything. We had more like 8-10" by the end of packing up the 2nd load with 30 mph winds and temps of 26...

Bucks and bulls live through crazy stuff or if not the birds/dogs/bears will tell you where he is by Tuesday or so.
