I scouted my little private pond this morning for our 9/2 early teal opener. I see an easy 3 man limit in the near future! I had 26 teal come in during the first 20 minutes of shooting light. There were several little groups and one larger flock of 13. I usually don't have many birds until the public areas start getting pounded so I'm guessing we will have a gob of opportunities to fill our 3 man limit. Anyone else seeing good numbers?

I haven't seen great numbers in eastern NE. Kinda the normal numbers. Having said that, we decided to not flood many of our holes for teal season so most of what I have seen has been on other property or along the Platte. That can always be a bit scattered

I am so envious of you guys that live in good waterfowl states.
I can't wait until surgeons finally get my spine stable enough for us
To move out of this state.

I cut my teeth on waterfowl as a kid. Then moved on to big game.
Persued all my dreams. Now I have come full circle and all I want
To do is bird hunt my lab. Gosh I love waterfowl hunting!
Good luck you guys!

Opening day of early goose here tomorrow.

we got our limit of blue wingers on Sat. It was a 3 man limit. Had a bunch of green wingers migrate in on sunday. Birds worked great, and the dogs got some great retrieves. Even got 6 bonus bullfrogs putting out decoys.
