Barrel is a Match Grade.

Have you found out what the barrel is yet? And what loads are you shooting?

My pre 64 270 weighs about 9 1/4 with a Leupold scope and no ammo.

My pre 64 Model 70 30-06 weighs about 10 pounds with scope and ammo ... and it still shoots great.

It's a 5R Match Grade. I'm using Nosler Trophy Grade 180 grain bullets.

Got some range time in today. Got it resighted in to 200yds. Wind picked up so a few more trips to get some practice in. I love this rifle.

She is shooting a 7mm WSM Savage

What kind of work did that outfit perform on the rifle?

They did drop data, made sure the scope was mounted perfect, came up with a ton of info that I will be using with a app called Shooter Ballistics to come up with on site shooting solutions for my set up. Pretty cool for only a few hundred bucks.
