My 2014 Alberta Bears

I went on a spot and stalk hunt with Swanspoint Outfitters in central Alberta last year and took two great bears. Just had to brag.

Yes it is! Truly is one of the prettiest bears I've seen. I bet the outfitter was impressed to. Did he have trail camera pics of that bear beforehand?

He had one trail cam pic of the bear from a couple years before I shot it. No one had ever actually seen him though.The skull was a little over 19" with an estimated weight of 300 lbs in late May when I got him which would have put him around 400 in the fall. The outfitter Matt was on cloud nine. His website is www.swanspointoutfitters.com He is a super guy. He contacted Bear Hunting magazine and they asked me to submit an article which they published last fall. It was my first effort at an article and was a lot of fun.
