Moving to Wyoming

Moving to Worland from Flagstaff AZ. I have hunted WY antelope a few times in unit 1, but that's it. Looking forward to the move, but a bit apprehensive about learning another states draw system.

Hunting interests include archery, if you want to hunt AZ regularly, you need to do it with a bow. I have a Brittany that is a pretty good quail dog, will like to try him out on pheasant.

Welcome. There used to be a couple bird farms north of worland a half hour or so. We used to go to worland to check out the city girls.[emoji4]

If I was in your shoes I would buy a lifetime license as an AZ resident before you leave. I would give my eye teeth to hold that license and be in the resident draw each year in AZ. My wife and I (as her "guide") should likely be hunting AZ this year for elk. :)

I think WY has one of the easiest draw systems to figure out and the best online app system. It even allows you to easily modify your hunt choices until the deadline.

Already done will have to pay out of state tag fees but not subject to ten percent non red cap and can accumulate bonus pts without out of state license every year.

Nice area, can get a little cold up there being your at the bottom of a big bowl. I've been into quail just north of Worland, so your dog's training will still be of use. The draw is pretty simple I feel.
