I don't want to be rude but what did the taxidermist do to his face? There's some black marks I don't see on the live animal pic. I like the rest for it for sure and it looks great
I'm only guessing but they may be from a tumble after the shot. BTW great looking goat and very cool mount, congrats!

No worries... You're good... the very first picture of him alive was taken from about a 1000 yards. The scars, mainly on the right side were one of the identifiers of that particular goat I was after. The scars are tough to see if the picture but I could see them in the spotter.

The taxidermist called when he came back from the tannery because they really stood out. Even the patch behind his shoulder, again tough to see in the picture of him alive but if you zoom in you can see it, kind of. Anyways, I just didn't want the taxi to change him up and since they were a BIG part of the hunt I left them.
