Couple threads on this, but yeah there are some guys doing it. I think we are going to try it this year where the forest has some gated roads

I train on a bike, and refuse to hunt from one.
My objective is a successful hunt, not a disaster.
I'm a good bike rider, but there's another whole litany of prep with a bike,ie;crash, breakdown, etc.
it's a personal decision, and me personally, my legs haven't failed me, and they WONT.

Ive used a bike for scouting. Mostly to get my legs in shape for the hunt. It has come in handy a few time to get around much faster then it I were walking.

I think it is obvious how i feel about bike hunting, especially if you check out the other thread.

one thing i have seen is everyones risk tolerance is different.

I think using a bike to get into a hunt can be quick and efficient, however it can be problematic or difficult at times. Hunting off a bike is extremely tough. I think you would run into a lot of problems in doing so; you may also glance over areas too quickly and miss a deer on a hillside that you may of seen if you were on foot.
