I stepped out this morning at 6:30 to hit the weight room and spotted this buck 300 yards from the house. Needless to say I was a few minutes late to the gym as I had to get the spotter on him and the phone scope hooked up. My lifting partner was razzing me about being late until I sent the photo, good excuse.

Another 45 days of growth will make that deer pretty special. Tough to judge from that picture but he doesn't appear extremely old to me- great genetics. Thanks for posting and causing me to lose all focus lol.

I agree he looks young in the body - a bit skinny. Hope he keeps growing those antlers, I'll watch him until this fall and see if I can get within bow range.
