Montana's Winter this year? mulies near the crazies?

Was curious how MT's winter has been so far? overall winter outlook?
particularly for mulies in/near the crazies?

mild? avg? rough?

All over the map so far. We have had temps down to -25 and now it is up in the 40's. Snow fall is way above normal so far due to the last big snow storm we had. Overall I think it is still to early to give much of an accurate prediction in how this winter will play out, still a lot of winter left.

So far from what I've seen, it's been pretty normal. Most of the lower areas around the Crazies don't have a lot of snow, so that's good for the wintering areas. I think the hardest part is we've had a foot or two of snow then it will rain and freeze up. That's got to be hard on all of the animals except for the coyotes and wolfs. But, I agree with JJenness, still a lot of winter left to go!
