Montana and Colorado are always my fall-back tags if I don't draw elk tags here in NM or on any of the local NM or CO Reservations. Since I was born and raised in Montana I can purchase the "Come Home to Hunt" combo (fish/bird/deer/elk) tag each year.. I remember when it was only $60? Now it's up to $550 I believe.. Still a smoking deal though.. If I do not tag out in my Reservation in Montana where I can get an elk tag for $34, the "Come Home to Hunt" combo tag is a great benefit to have.
