Wyoming is currently looking into purchasing around a million acres along the I-80 corridor.

I'm afraid the benefit to sportsmen may not be a priority with this potential purchase. While it could be good, it might also be a giant oilfield/wind mill field where hunters aren't allowed. I would love to read further to understand the specifics.

They aren't making any more. I could not afford it at $ .10 per acre. If in the right places it could open up no telling how much access to millions more.

Well looking at the map not sure it would open up a lot on the east side of the state if on I-80 area. Might even end up with a lot land locked.

I hope this is to benefit hunters, but if it helps out wildlife and protecting land for wildlife it's still a good buy for the state
