Max points for antelope. My son and me have had differnt schedules the last 5 years and decided to use these and to go chase some Good Speed Goats. 57,60 and 61 is where I've looked while waiting? Any other options? Wondering how spring moisture has been and what shape the herds are in after winter?

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the top units. Good luck and stick around and tell some stories and post some pictures.

Head over to the new members section and give an intro.

Seems moist as been good in most of the top units. You should have a great time and see lots of bucks.

The red desert is always dry unless I'm trying to archery hunt:p. I am a fan of area 57 out of the three listed but all three produce 80"+ bucks yearly. Can't go wrong... have fun and please let us know how the hunt goes.

Hilltop thanks for the support. Is there any areas that i need to look at more than another? We wont be hunting the opener. 350 people is way to many for us so we?ll hold off until the 2nd or 3rd week. I may try and draw the 101 mule deer hunt also with max points but worried about Deer herd?

This year, the farther south you go, the drier it gets. I don't think you realize how big all the units you listed are compared the number of permits given. You can go opening day, and might not see another hunter. You could spend an entire month and not drive even a fraction of the roads or see even a small percentage of each of those unit's goats. The smart hunters will be there long before the opener and either 1) have one dead by an arrow or 2) be firing a bullet within 5 minutes of the opening morning. If you're short on time (like a week or less) and are going later in the season, find out where the antelope stack up at as many of those units have migratory herds. Call the game and fish bio for the unit. If you wait until later in the season and plan it right, chances are you'll see just a mindboggling amount of antelope.

I would include unit 67 in your list.
