I just built up a 280 AI on a remington action. It's a Shillen 25" barrel and I am just about to start working up loads. This thread has perfect timing. Are you buying premium brass in 280 AI or are you fire forming some standard 280 brass.

I purchased and am using that great Nosler brass. I watch for it on SPS and snag it when they have blemished or over-runs.

Running Nosler brass with Federal 210M primers. 26 inch Lilja barrel on Sako 75 action. Settled on H4831 59.5 grains. Also tried IMR 4350 . Definite preference for the H4831. Barnes TTXS 150 grain bullets. Used Barnes and Nosler reloading data to get started. Ended up with .250 CTC groups at 3015 fps. Very satisfied with gun and performance.

Not this fall. Too much work! It has a stainless barrel with a black Sako factory stock. Not techy enough to post pictures!
