Lost horses and mule

Hey everyone, I need your help,

I lost my two horses and mule, Sunday am sept 4th
Last seen at timberline in the Ptarmigan wilderness Area on the Silverthorne Colorado side

All three have halters and a lead rope.

This is his wife, and I will be checking back in

Hope you find them soon. I'd put the word out to the near by airports, there are private pilots that may be willing to fly over the area. Had a guy I know lose two horses late in the Fall, they were found the next spring, 75 miles or so away in good shape. Don't give up.

Sorry to hear that. I know how you are feeling. I had a lead horse spook at night (broke his highline when a bear sniffed around camp) I walked out 12.67 miles to the truck/trailer. I tracked him down the trail and thank goodness he was standing next to the trailer with a look of "hey can I get some feed please"

If you marked the animals shoes you may want to spread that around at trailheads in the area via a poster or something with a contact #. All the best.

I definitely know the feeling of lost donkeys in the mountains..hope it turns out well for you. I found a lost horse last week in the highcountry with a saddle still on it..good lookin horse with no brand or anythin unfortunately

Looks like we got them. Some muzzleloaders found them and sent coordinates. My son has them. They are all in good shape. They get to spend the night at the fairgrounds. Looks like their vacation is over. Thanks for all the positive thoughts.
