How many of you have smoke pot roast? If you cut it right you could convince people who aren't BBQ enthusiasts it is brisket.
I was pleased with how it turned out. Fair warning if you try it, the stall is pretty significant. I let it rest about 20 minutes in the foil, it pulled a lot of the moisture in really well. I might leave it resting longer on my next try.Looks great!
That's cheap. Brisket around here is $7 per pound.The Brisket I smoked this past weekend was 16 lbs and cost $60. I only smoke the packer style Untrimmed briskets (with all the deckle fat).
