mdeer.jpg I don't have the pictures of my first deer but I can tell you it wasn't even close to what my sons first was. Here it is . 192", full velvet, 16 scoreable points, and he got it at 8' with his bowtech. The best part about it was that I have it all on video. We found him bedded and he made a great stalk and double lunged him with a rage 2 blade and finished him off about 10 minutes later because he was thrashing around and was scraping the velvet off. A great hunt and great memories for me.

Dang! Wish I had that kind of luck. Hoping my evo will put the smackdown on one! Got some Sitka so my camo is covered, got my Pse's and all the rest of my gear so now I have to draw and find a buck worthy of putting a arrow through.

Here ya go. My first Mule deer I took and had a camera along to take some pics. I was pretty proud of this little guy and the flowing locks of hair on my head! hahahaha and the shades were cool at that time as well. Notice my pickup in the backround, with my head down I will admit to road hunting back in the day too. I was in Nv close to Wild Horse Res outta Elko. Oh ya and not to mention my choice in Camo was stellar!!!
That is so funny, we have got to be cousins or something! Man o man does that picture remind me of some relatives hunting in MO... the same camo and all! I'll say one thing, I am sure you had fun and that is what it is about to me. Things sure change over the years though.

Nice buck.

You guys are making me jealous. I'll be 35 when the 2012 season starts here in Nevada and this will be my first mule deer hunt. Right now, I just hope to come home with a filled tag, let alone something like what some of the folks have posted on here. Great show!

This was my first buck, not a true muley but a bench leg from d3 in california. I think he was blinded by my hot pink shirt I was wearing.firstbuck.jpg
