Leica Range Finder ?

All, I am about to purchase a new RF, I have a 20+ year old Leica LRF 900 Scan thats in mint condition :(. Its big and bulky by todays standards and has no angle compensation. So I am considering a CRF1600B from Leica. The size and angle compensation are the features I value, the quality of the product goes without comment. Ive played with them in stores, do you guys have any words of wisdom ?

Leica is a solid mfg. I don’t have any experience with them but some friends I know swear by them.

I bought a CRF1600B last year before hunting season. I love it so far. It's small, light weight, and fast. The returns come back almost instantly from just about any surface, all the way out to 1600. I have not had time yet to learn about the ballistics / angle compensation so I can't comment on that.

Buy the crf1600b you wont be disappointed Ive had mine sense 2013 its spot on

Leica makes top notch stuff. But I'm a cheap-bastard, and can't bear to replace my Leica LRF 800 Rangemaster.

It.

Just.

Works.

And the optics were so good, I used it in place of my binos...until I got the Zeiss Conquest HD's.

I've drooled over the Leica Geovid 10x42 HD-R...but for $2,499...just can't pull the trigger on that purchase.

Some day...
