Sorry everyone! Until I read others' intros when they came on here as new members, I didn't realize I should have introduced myself. Well hope better late than never applies.:)Here goes:
I grew up on a farm in OR (where I still live). I was the youngest of six kids. Our annual family vacations were deer and elk hunts. I was fortunate to grow up within walking distance of hunting/trapping/fishing which I loved and spent all my spare time doing!I am married with a son, daughter and two step-sons.(all are in college now!) I'm lucky to have had the opportunity to hunt DIY in most of the western states and Alaska at least a little bit.I've been putting in PP in multiple states for about 9-12 yrs. and hope to get a chance to use them up in the next 5-10 yrs. I was raised a meat hunter so sometimes I have a hard time holding out for the big ones, but I'm getting better:) I love the adventure of hunting new places!( and hearing about others adventures and seeing pics of the hunt!)

Welcome to both of you. We like the intros and appreciate it. We have a ton of good info as you know and starting out with some respect for us by introducing yourself will go much farther then just asking for hunting advise on your first post. Respect goes both ways.

Welcome to EF! No worries, I didnt know about intros when I joined either and had never been on any forms before. I was even one of those guys looking for info on his first post. It was info for a unit I had a tag for and not 'what unit should I apply for with 0 points' or 'I been lurking around here for a while' atleast. I wasnt on the form much the first year or so after I joined mostly because I didnt have internet at my house but Im sure there were many that thought I was just another one post wonder. I guess it turned out alright since I havent been banned yet;)
