Looking for something to wear under my guide pants, in cold weather, anyone recommend the 200 peloton or 210 merino? Any experience with both, which could be better for cold weather? I wear the regular under armour under them now, but not warm enough. Thanks for any suggestions!

I have the 210 Merino long sleeve and really like it! Great for layering and kept me pretty warm with just that on in low 50 degree weather. Wore it 4 days straight and didn't absorb any smell at all and believe me, I did sweat plenty in it. With that being said, I imagine the bottoms would be very nice as well.

I use the pelaton 200 zip long sleeve and love it. I'm sure it would be very comfortable as a bottom as well. I have their 145 merino and love it as well, so as far as what you should order I don't think you can go wrong. Here is what I noticed with both of my tops though... the Pelaton seems more robust and may not wear out as easily as the merino. The merino never did start to smell even after 8 straight days of wearing it, so this may be a definite plus with the bottoms. I think the pelaton is thicker, at least on the top, so you may want to make sure you get one that will fit under your pants without making you feel like the marshmallow man.

Yea, pretty much. I do have one of their packs, and when you're well over a hundred pounds, but it still feels lite, I guess it's worth it.

Anyone have experience with firstlites Allegheny 330 merino?? They sound darn nice, might be what I'm looking for?

My friend and I both rock the 210 Merino from kuiu, as well as the rest of their line up. Couldn't be happier. It is not very thick for the warmth it creates, and the best part is the zip off ability, which makes changing layers a breeze. I only wear it if the temps drop below 40*, but if it drops below 30* and I'm not moving I get cold. Thats where the super down comes in handy.... The size M (33") fit me perfectly and I'm technically a 32" waist. Their clothing sizes are based on the layering system so an under-layer will be slightly smaller than stated, main layer will be dead on, rain layer just a bit larger. If you are on the high side of a 30" waist it would probably fit.
