Hey guys wondering if anyone has suggestions on a kuiu jacket. I would like something light enough for weather weather. I currently have the Yukon and it's great rain gear but it's a little noisy and would like something quieter. I am looking at either the guide DCS or the Chinook.

DCS guide is my go to all around jacket, the chinook if I'm correct is lighter without a hood! I just bought one for warmer conditions. The DCS is slightly heavier. If you have any questions call KUIU ask for Tiffany she'll help you! She is the store mgr!

DCS is a louder material of the two, but a more all around good jacket. The Chinock for me is too warm for active hunting.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a few weeks anyways I tend to do allot of my hunting sitting up high and glassing would the guide jacket still be the better choice

I would throw out the super down for this scenario. This is how I hunt too. The super down folds up to the size of a cantaloupe, weighs next to nothing and is quite warm.
