Found one for 750$!

I'm so happy to finally find one. FPJ Ignition. Talk about a hard gun to find and that's a good price.

Only problem is that it is a smooth barrel... so I am going to have to drill and tap it for a front sight and put on a peep sight onto the back of it for Colorado Elk season!

I have a knight long range hunter and it is just too heavy to be lugging all over the place in Colorado.

Anyone have a peep sight recommendation?

I'm kinda surprised it didn't come drilled and tapped. Not as clean an option but you can buy peep sights that pinch around the barrel if you don't want to pay to drill and tap.

Be careful drilling and tapping that barrel. I understand it is quite thin for installing a front sight.

My favorite sight picture is a Williams FP peep in the rear and a XS Sights white patridge (not partridge :) front sight. With that front blade, your aiming point is at the TOP of the blade, so you don't have a bead covering a large portion of the target (as in 4-6" at 100 yards). I've been able to shoot sub MOA groups at 100 yards with that sight combination.

If it shoots like my Knight DISC, I have had excellent accuracy and hunting results with 85 grains of BH209 (85 grains by volume), two 0.06" thick vegetable fiber wads, a 460 grain No Excuses bullet and a Fiocchi 209 primer. Fiocchi is a softer igniting primer as far as the pressure it produces. It has the flame to reliably ignite BH209 well but they don't tend to push the seated load off its seating before the powder ignites.

Interesting! Im going to check that sight out. Might be a better option than drilling the barrel. How easy is it to adjust?

I shoot the 300 Gr Thor Bullets with 120Gr of BH209 Powder. These shot really well out of my knight Long Rang Hunter
