Insanity CPXL or Matrix G3???

Hey all,
Please help. I am buying a new bow and I have narrowed it down to the Bowtech Insanity CPXL or the Hoyt Matrix G3. I am interested in your opinions to help me. I shoot 70# and a 31.5 inch draw.

I just bought an Insanity CPX a few months ago. I used to shoot a Z7. Both are great bows, but I like the Bowtech better for now. Time will tell in the long run though. I don't have any experience with the Hoyt bows, but my buddy swears by them. I would shoot both of them side by side, same draw length, rest, release, etc. and see which one fits you better. In the long run, they are both good bows, its just a matter of which one you will shoot better and feel more comfortable shooting.

Like tdcour said. Shoot both bows and go with the one that feels the best. Neither will kill a animal more dead than the other. Good luck!

Like stated go shoot both and see which one you like the best. Post a picture once you get your new bow!

Those two bows have totally different feel IMO. I assume you have shot them side by side? I think that weight would be a criterion to consider out here in Wyoming. The G3 has a clear advantage there. The Bowtech has a clear price advantage. I also assume the Experience is out because the draw length only goes to 31?

Both bows are top shelf and loaded with some impressive technology. At your draw length, you are going to get a ton of speed either way. Whichever bow you choose, you will probably be convinced that you made the right choice after just a few trips to the range. The truth is both bows are very good and you can't go wrong either way. I have tried three different times to talk myself into a Bowtech, but I always struggle with how smooth they don't feel. I have been using a Mathews Switchback XT for six years, but I am retiring it this year.

BTW, there was a pretty good write up in this month's EBJ on some of the 2013 premium bows.
