when I drew my tag I never got a phone call so I figured I didn't draw. a couple weeks later I get a letter in the mail addressed to me but on the actual letter it said.. dear Mr. so so so..... congratulations.... wasn't my name. so it was like winning the lottery and then having it taken from me. thankfully when I called they had meant to put my name on the letter head. they couldn't call me because I didn't update my new phone number in system.

I tried back door thing today... instead of giving me the option to buy a general elk or general deer tag it says deer receipt and elk receipt.... I thought that was weird, idk, maybe everyone's says that.

hmmm..Maybe you hit the jackpot with both tags!!..i logged on and it would allow me to buy a general elk/deer...Im also a non-res technically, though i have my lifetime idaho hunting license. not sure what that means! i guess i hope your wrong for my sake! haha

Did you buy the Sportsmans pack? If so, your deer and elk tag are receipts until redeemed. If not, than I'm not sure.
