Do you routinely rip off fletchings?
bust shafts/robin hoods?
not sure if it must stick to be a robin hood or just break the other shaft/push the nock in?

no longer use a single bullseye target?

I wouldn't call myself a sharp shooter but I have ripped up some vanes in my day as well as ripped some carbon with broadheads. I learned quickly and bought a target with multiple bullseyes. I don't fletch myself so any time an arrow gets hacked it's a real pain in the butt.

I have robin hooded a few in my days, always surprises me because I am not a great shot. If you shoot enough you will rip vanes, nicks and bang up some arrows. I tend to shoot at different bulls eyes when up closer and always when shooting broadheads, arrows are to expensive to keep replacing.

I can shoot fairly well.......but I haven't ripped vanes, etc., in some time. I shoot three spot targets only to prevent that from happening.

I shoot at different spots at anything under 60. Even with fieldpoints I can damage arrows. This is, of course, on a good day of shooting. I also have days I couldn't hit water if I fell out of a boat. I never ever ever shoot broadheads at the same spot even at 100. I'm a tight wad and ruining arrows ruins my day. I have busted several nocks, scraped arrows, and torn off lots of fletchings. Only had one robin hood because I decided it wasn't worth losing two arrows!

What range I'm shooting at is key. Any of the short shots I'm guaranteed to mess up an arrow or two in an afternoon. When I started out shooting cheap arrows it was ok to mess up one from time to time but when I started shooting FMJ's it's not so cool. 50+ for me and I'm ok with aiming for the same spot for a few arrows.

Rip off fletchings? Yes
Bust shafts? Yes
Break nocks? Yes
Use a multiply bullseye target? Yes

I hate to wound and chase an animal! But it happens too.
