Homemade seed spreader (pics)

For all of you food plot guys...

Needed to figure out another way to spread seed. I was tired of this other spreaders throwing half of my seed and fertilizer in the woods.

Sooooo....I designed and built this. Spreads 100 Degree swath VS a 360 degree throw of 50'. Its mostly welded with the exception of a few removable parts that I used 1/4-20 bolts on. Doesn't weigh much. Maybe 40 pounds.

Got it painted and mounted yesterday evening.

Man thats slick! We use a pull behind type but this would fit our needs much better. Having the spreader sit in front of you is so much better. Did you re-purpose the motor assembly from your previous spreader?
