Hello All -

I would like to start off by saying thank you to Eastmans for the ever abundant amount of information that they provide to us hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. Not sure even with the internet these days, if I could find as much useful hunting information as I do at Eastmans. Again, thanks for all the hard work they put into it.

As for me, My name is Gerry and I am an addicted outdoorsman who is blessed enough to actually get to work in the outdoors industry. I currently work as a freelance graphic artist, designing waterfowl call artwork, packaging, apparel, as well as photography and video work.

My yearly hunting season kicks off in January calling coyotes, then on to spring Turkey in May, fish the Missouri all summer, get some early season geese in August and chase antelope and deer from Sept thru December. No season is out of bounds, with my Hoyt Charger bow, Tikka T3 300WSM rifle, and TC Venture 50cal muzzleloader.

Have lived in South Dakota my whole life, and probably wont ever leave. Love it here, minus the winters, but it is what it is.

Always looking for new friends and contacts in the hunting world, so feel free to get ahold of me if you ever need any graphics, animations, or video work done, or even to just BS and talk hunting. Never been one to turn down a good hunting story.

Looking forward to another great season this year and wish all of you a blessed and safe 2014 hunting season!

Welcome to the forum! I lived in SD for almost 5 years and really enjoyed it. I'm originally from Texas, so we weren't too fond of the winters either. Great state for people that love the outdoors for sure!

Welcome to the forum, I live in mobridge and love it here, the fishing this year has been awesome. Where in sd do u live? I came from nd and did lots of waterfowl up there but sold my decoy trailer and all my decoys before I moved down here and do a lot of deer hunting now, missed goose hunting this year.

Hey guys. Thanks for the warm welcome. I currently live in Aurora, SD which is 6 miles SE of Brookings. Got family all over the state though, Colome, Rapid City, Miller... the list goes on and on. So I try to hunt a good chunk of the state. And yep definately keep myself busy as much as possible. Keeps the mind occupied and me out of trouble. :)

We had a soybean plot with Terry Hill, not sure if you kbow him, when I worked there. I'm sure they still do. Saw a monster buck up there one day during harvest. We were a couple miles east of the Syngenta farm

Welcome to the forum. I hunted around Mitchell this past March for the late season snow geese! We had a great time just the birds were late getting to this area. The country around there is just beautiful.
