Grizzly Bear in Southern Wyoming

Having lived and graduated from high school in Kemmerer, I found this article pretty interesting. We know the Grizzly population is thriving and they are moving into areas that have not had bears for decades. With all that being said both resident and non-resident hunters in Wyoming will have to make sure to take the proper precautions when hunting or doing other outdoor recreation as more and more of the state is now holding bears.

They have always been moving but sightings are quite rare.

I remember back in the mid to late 70's when one got hit by a truck while crossing I-80 in Utah just to the west of Park City.

I would imagine it's only a matter of time before there is a confirmed sighting of Grizzlies in the Uinta Mountain range.

If I were a betting man I would say that this is confirmation for what a lot of people have had a hunch about for a while...
